I have a couple of ideas.....
There's a new book coming out in Feb. called Pax that I really want to read. It's a World War II novel about a boy and his pet fox and it's getting great reviews.
Also, I think you all would love Crossover by Kwame Alexander. It's a story told in a series of poems, and believe it or not it's really good...exciting, happy, sad, and funny all at once. I loved it. You could easily read it in a day, it's that good.
There's an older book called The Schwa Was Here by Neal Shusterman that we should also consider.
